When I designed my boxes, I wanted the experience of the candle to be more than just the smell so, with that in mind, I added an inner to enhance the experience and expectation of what was in the box...I added an extra message to 'relax, unwind and enjoy' which is a welcome message for the recipient.
I should add that my boxes are made locally in Aylesbury and my labels in Stokenchurch keeping it a very local product indeed.
These are a selection of the candles I produce for Peterley Manor Farm.
The range is inspired by the 'herb garden' and now includes diffusers to compliment the candles.

All my candles and diffusers are made individually by me in my small Buckinghamshire workshop. I really enjoy making candles and I feel very lucky to do what I love.
The Chiltern Candle Co Flower Diffuser is a new and decorative way to fragrance your home. The flower is made from delicate pieces of fine wood and the fragrance is absorbed from the vase via a cotton stem that diffuses the scent into the fine petals.

I do love to design and create bespoke candles and these Grapefruit and Mint scented candles for 'The Kitchen Larder' in Chalfont St Peter smell absoloutely devine!

As well as sponsoring the local boys football team I was also the manager to ensure continuity of the club. Now grown men, the players still look back fondly at their footbal playing days and I am delighted to know that I made a difference to them.

Only eco friendly packaging that can be recycled is used for the Chiltern Candle Co products. The jars and tins can be washed out in soapy water and reused for other uses. In this picture I have used the glasses as vases for fresh roses which I think compliments my range beautifully.
These Hydrangeas were picked from my garden and I thought that they compliment the Blackberry & Pear colour perfectly. They were certainly an attractive addition to my workshop.
The Royal Air Force will be 100 years old in 2018 and amazingly I would have served almost a third of its existance since I joined up as an air traffic controller in 1987. I therefore approached the RAF Benevolent Fund to ask if I could design a candle for them and the result is 'ASCENT' which comes in tins and 60 hour burn glass jars; 10% of the profits of ASCENT will be donated to the charity.
These 40 hour burn tins make a great travel companian so that you can always have the scent of 'home' where ever you are.

This commission was for a Golden Wedding anniversay celebration at Hartwell House in Buckinghamshire. The air was filled with the sweet floral notes of Jasmine which was a particular favourite of the couple which gave them wonderful memeories of their 50 years together.
